ALERT: An Interagency scientific team has been monitoring the hazards posed by a potential landslide in Barry Arm Fjord, Prince William Sound, Alaska. Recent monitoring from early September 2022, have identified a prolonged acceleration and increase in the size of the area that is in motion. Please consider this most recent scientific information and current natural events (i.e. significant rainfall, seismicity, etc.) carefully when entering inundation zones. If making a cabin reservation on recreation.gov or recreating in the area please take into consideration the factors mentioned above.

Crescent Creek Campground Open Open Firewood cutting is open in the Crescent Creek Campground from April 22 to May 23. 🪵 You MUST obtain a permit from the Seward Ranger District's front office prior to cutting and gathering. Call the front office at 907-288-3178 to arrange a time to get a permit. Be aware that there is limited turn-around space for vehicles as snow melts.
